⚡ Kasch Stables Takes All Top Spots in August with Lightning Strike

* Lightning Strike hit three times for owner Kasch Stables 2 taking all three spots on the leaderboard as we went into the first weekend of August 2023. The 16.1 hand Dutch Warmblood mare was bred by Ebony Breeding Barn. She captured the top rank with a 104.5 inch Best Jump, and her jumpoff record was 11,536 - 31 with a leaderboard-worthy Best Streak of 3,828 consecutive wins. As she sat at #1 she had earned 18,093,750 PB. Her record history shows she also earned Best in Show, All-time Breed Win Streak, All-time World Record Breed Jump, Non-retired Breed Win Streak to round out her achievements. She lept to the top 10 as a nine-year-old and took the #1 rank at the age of fourteen earning 22,499,850 PB in winnings by the age of 15. Her earnings put her in the top five highest winnings and one of the youngest to hold a place on the list of top earners.
Lightning Strike is by 152nd generation stallion EDW Dragonfly Storm, son of #1 ranked dam * Imogens Rainbow *. Her sire’s pedigree shows a string of top-ranked horses like * Ebony Curse, and * Cursed Irruption. Her dam is 76th generation mare * Voltage Currency who ranked #1, earned 12,417,600 PB in winnings and held Best in Show and Non-retired World Record Breed Jump Records. She was born June 17, 2023 with perfect 10/10/10/10 conformation which improved to 15/15/15/15. As she graced the leaderboard she was at training level 13 of 14. She was itemed with Saddle Bags, Diamond Saddles, a Lucky Charm along with Pegasus, Fearless Feathers and Kangaroo DNA.
She was one of four Dutch Warmbloods in the top thirty-ranked horses and one of three in the top ten as stablemates vies for the top positions. She has no foal data, but clearly, at age 15, her competition career is far from over.
