Tokyo Olympics Sumo Jump Unfair Advantage

If you think the Sumo wrestler jump in the Olympic show ring was a little odd-looking, you’re not the only one. The horses that actually had to jump it seemed a little disturbed by it too. Seems several horses refused to jump the obstacle with the life-sized wrestler positioned beside it. It may in fact, have been the downfall of several competitors as their horse said ‘no way’ to getting close to the large effigy. In the end, Ben Mahr rode on past the wrestler to the gold medal win.
