Kentucky Derby Horse Drugging Probe Ongoing
|
|
Bob Baffert, trainer of five Kentucky Derby winning horses is going for a sixth win. But, his efforts are shadowed by reports of horses in his care are again testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. Details are sparse as there are confidentiality rules surrounding the investigation. Whether the drugging accusations prove true or not, this is another cloud over an already beleaguered sport after several horses have broken down at various tracks and COVID-19 has left the stands empty of horse racing fans. |
