Horse Rescued from Bog in Alberta
 By Winniefield Park   •   12th Jun 2020   •   361 views   •   0 comments

Wild horses can find themselves in perilous situations sometimes. One youngster, part of a herd in Alberta, Canada, recently needed human help to escape from a bog. While monitoring a herd of horses for new foals, Help Alberta Wildies Society (HAWS) came across the entrapped horse, who appeared to have been in the icy mud and water for some time, and had been abandoned from her herd. With care and patience members were able to free the filly, and feel that her chances for survival, are very good.
