There is a contender for the highest jump record. Red Wine Stain, a full Trakehner mare’s career took off as a four year old and rocketed from 15,709 place to the 125th spot. At the age of 13 when this article was written, she sits in the 9th rank spot with 1,861,100 PB in winnings and a highest jump of 101.25", putting her in a tie for highest jump record with the now 43-year-old Moyle mare Konakele. This record also gives Red Wine Stain the all time high jump breed record. Her record 101.25" jump came against a horse named SL Rainmaker, who put in a valiant effort of 80". That jump earned Red Wine Stain 15,400 PB.

Red Wine Stain is by the second generation stallion Sands of Time owned by Rising Phoenix Farm. Red Wine Stain is the most successful offspring of Sands of Time and has already outperformed her sire. Her dam Tiny Dancer is a 19th generation mare out of the mare * Synnove who reached a top rank of 3rd and best jump of 99". Her dam traces back to the top ranked mare, MH Havre de Grace, whose best jump was 91.75" and to top ranked sire H* Dr. McDreamy.

Red Wine Stain’s X-ray report shows her to have a performance score of 463. She has excellent Inherited Genes and 19 DNA points. Her Age Factor has dropped slightly, but remains at “I Can Still Do This”. Her conformation score is 60 and Strength is still at 100%. She’s been fed carrot juice and has been itemed with multiple Diamond Saddles, a Saddle Bag, Lucky Charm, Golden Stirrup and both Speed and Fearless DNA.
Rising Phoenix Farm has been awarded the Top Breeder Status for Trahkanhers and Red Wine Stain is the NIX brand’s top horse so far. |
