Flood Horses Still Need Homes

As we cope with a new crisis, it seems like so long ago that there were other crises dominating the headlines and wrenching our heart strings. And, many people still arenít finished with the aftermath. The floodwaters may have receded in the states hit by the flooding of 2019, but the clean up continues. And many, but not all animals displaced by the disaster have found their homes. Some flood rescued horses still need to find new homes, like these two mares, are still looking for their forever homes. Patient Rehabilitation and training has made them more adoptable, and lessons have been learned for helping large animals in the next crisis.
