If you are studying for Pony Club quizzes, BHS exams or just about any other test of your horse knowledge you will probably find the Equestion app very useful. But learning theory for tests is not the only thing the app was designed for. The app was designed with students, horse owners, coaches creating theory programs or quizzes, parents of horse crazy kids, horse crazy kids or anyone wanting to improve their knowledge of horses, horse care and riding in mind. No need for awkward handbooks and manuals, you are able to learn a vast amount of equestrian information on your phone or tablet.
This is a paid app, and level one will cost about $5USD, with an additional cost for the second level. Each level will offers several different categories each with hundreds of questions to answer. During use, the app will provide feedback. As the user becomes familiar with the information presented in the multiple choice questions, it offers both questions that haven’t been answered correctly and new questions, so that all the material can be learned efficiently. You are also able to review questions.
The questions are based on British Horse Society Stages 1 & 2, Ride Safe and NVQ (National Vocational Qualifications) 1 & 2 Horse Care in the UK, but the information is applicable to horse owners anywhere in the world. The creators are knowledgeable horse owners, stable owners and competitors whose goal was to make learning equestrian theory easy and fun. The information you will learn from the app is reliable and up-to-date.
Users will find a very simple, but attractive interface. Questions are presented one by one, in multiple choice form. The app will provide instant feedback as you answer each question. You are able to share your progress and scores through social media and stop and start the questions as you need to. As a member of the Equestion community, you will have access to information and advice, a free copy of 30 Days to Better Riding Challenge and brand ambassadors.
