As hurricane Sandy marches towards the U.S. East Coast with winds approaching 90 MPH and historic levels of rain and snow, the thought of an unprepared barn or stable facility is on every horse owners mind. The primary debate we hear at Ponybox is - Do you keep your horse in or out of the barn during a hurricane? Which is safer for your horse?

Hurricane Preparedness for Horses:
This isn't the typical review that you're used to seeing from me, but given the fact that we're right in the middle of storm season, it seems more relevant than some of the other topics that were in the hopper. Appears the damage from this is going to take a long time to repair. Most still don't have power almost a week later.
