It is cold and you are tacking up your horse and then you realize that you need to take a few minutes to try to warm up that freezing cold bit. No need for that anymore, with a product called Bit Blanket.
Like the name says, Bit Blanket is a cover you wrap around your bit and it warms up the bit to a comfortable temperature. The Bit Blanket plugs into any outlet and requires only 4 watts of power to operate. Within minutes the bit is warm and much more comfortable for your horse even in below freezing temperatures. The Bit Blanket eliminates discomfort and pain that ice cold bit does to your horse's mouth.
Bit Blankets come in four colors: red, blue, black, and green. They are currently priced at $39.95.

I love that invention! Unfortunatly I won't be able to use it because I live in Florida.

That's a pretty cool idea but seems a lot of money for what it actually does

Neat idea. It seems easier (and cheaper) though to just store your bits inside during winter.

I have a red one! I used to do the same thing as Irony, but when I started showing more, I would often leave the Bit Blanket on overnight.

The Bit Blanket is the best idea! I bought one for my instructor last year - but now we have a heated tack room. :)

It's funny how people will invent anything and everything to make mucho bucks. ^^
I think it's rather useless.....I either warm it up in warm water, or, *Le Gasp*, my electric blanket! I plug it in outside with an extension cord, wrap the bit in it, and let it warm up while I'm tacking up.

I don't really like this idea atall. I would rather a cold metal bit in my mouth than a piece of cloth or something. There is a even better idea than this! There is these type of bits- I think they are called Happy Mouths or something- and they use a gold thing that is not atually metal and it is warmer and softer in the mouth! I like these the best!
