I have seen many non-credited graphics on here and some that are not done properly. Below are some tips on properly adding credits to images and photos.

Finding Stock Images

There are multiple places where you can find stock images. Such as,, and even here. Make sure you follow the rules of the owner of the stock images. You would not be using them right if you didn't. Follow ALL of the rules... not just one.

Making the credit

First list the part of the image you are crediting and then the source of the credit as shown here.

Buckskin Horse:

You always want to use the username@website format. Using just the website name is not allowed, since credit will not resolve to the actual user. For example, the following is not correct.
Buckskin Horse:

Crediting all sources

You need to credit all sources used in the image, if you made a manip that consists of mutiple parts from multiple sources, you need to credit them all.

Black Horse:
Black WIngs and horn:
Cremello Foal:
Cremello Wings:

If you would like to show you made it, which I always do, you can do this.

Manip: (yourname)

So, the rules are usually simple, just follow them and use proper credits and you have a graphic that is done and 100% compliant. Just remember my steps when crediting graphics and you will have no problems.
