On August 14th my horse Violet and I went to a jumper show that was part of the High Desert Hunter Jumper Association series. We were in four classes and placed in all of them!
The first three were 2'3" to 2'6" and the last class was 2'6" to 2'9". I got through the first class with a clean round and I won in the jump-off. The same thing happened in the second class. In the third class, I knocked a rail trying to go too fast in the jump-off so I got third place. (There weren't very many people in that one, haha.) In the fourth, higher class, we were the last in the arena. The person who went before me had just taken over the lead. We went in the arena and Violet was being very lazy but we managed to get through with a clean round. I readied my crop for the jump-off and we got the fastest time, winning our third blue ribbon of the day. Yay! |
