Actually, a horse shouldn't drag their hooves, no matter how lazy. Dragging hooves, whether in the front or back, is always a sign of spinal problems that need to be assessed by a chiropractor (or even neurological issues that haven't been noticed or addressed).

No, she was just half asleep before that class, and therefore her feet dragged in the deep dirt. She doesn't drag them most of the time unless she's really tired.
