I’m from a small town in Hampshire, England but now live in Southampton which is one of our big waterfront port cities. Fun fact it’s where the Titanic departed on its maiden voyage, and the city is known as the gateway to the world. We also have the New Forest not far away which is where the New Forest Ponies originate from and still roam today!

So many places mentioned are on my bucket list. I don’t know if I could handle the big snow storms many get. But I’d probably like it better then the big hurricanes that roll in here from time to time. Y’all are going to have to share pictures of the snow this winter 😀.
I love the states with low humidity too. Seems to help some with heat and cold.
Anyone collect anything when you visit different areas? I’ve seen some cool blankets people make out of t shirts they’ve collected. I just grab a cool rock 😀. I have one little flower bed and I put all the rocks in it.

Oregon born and raised. I live on the green side of it all, and honestly I would love to move to central Oregon for the dryer climate. Having ponies in an area with lots of rain and mud from fall to spring makes it hard to ride regularly and makes their care harder. I really like the desert, I would consider moving to Nevada or Arizona but my other half will die before he will move to a desert lol.

I was born and raised in Texas, however I just moved to North Dakota last month! So far I'm loving it here, but I'm definitely not looking forward to the winters they have up here.

Oregon here! I just moved here recently and I don't think I'll ever leave... there's so much rain and cold and natural beauty, it's just lovely here! Perfect for me (except summers are still very hot but not for too long!). If I had to move, though... I'd either hit up western Canada, like Vancouver, or maybe somewhere in the European countryside, like in France, Germany, or Switzerland. Talk about natural beauty!!

So awesome! Sounds like many of us have had extreme heat this year to deal with.
I remember seeing reports last year of many northern and western states getting some serious snow storms. Blizzards. Brrrr
Florida definitely offers many attractions. I still have Universal Studios on my bucket list to do. 😊
I follow a page called Amazing Destinations. That really gives you a vibe to travel. It’s so cool though because you can see little clips from all over the world. So many gorgeous places.
It’s awesome hearing from everyone and neat to see what the weather and stuff it’s like in various areas.

It's home, and there is some real beauty to be found.

I’m in the oh so lovely Connecticut haha not much here that’s exciting. It’s been soooo hot though and very muggy. Our winters are freezing though lol we usually get a decent amount of snow. I’m too excited for winter this year because my daughter will be one year and would love the snow this year and I will be having another baby in the beginning of February so I’m so excited haha

So awesome to here about all the different places! They all sound so awesome. Makes me want to travel and see more places. I always thought I’d love Montana but I’m not sure now lol. Maybe to visit but sounds pretty cold. There’s so many beautiful places around the world. I’d love to be able to travel. I’ve been to various states on the east coast but have only been to Nevada once and really no where else lol. I’d love no bugs. Florida definitely has a lot. We live in the country though and only close to a few small towns. I love the one town we most often go to. Nothing special in sight really but just a friendly place and being small you know all the local businesses on a more personal level which is kind of nice.

So want to visit America and tour it & Canada too! 🥰
So am UK born and raised but had an older sister in Ireland and every time we visited and left I cried , I just loved the place! Moved here for a year as a teenager but friends called me back to the uk, fast forward a few years when I started my own family, I said am not raising them here we’re moving to Ireland lol! So with a 4 week old baby and an almost 2 year old we packed up and left lol! Don’t have one regret I absolutely love Ireland and been here 5 years next month and added another baby in the mix our own Galway girl xD.. Best part is my kiddos are getting cute Irish accents haha.

I used to live in Cape Coral, Florida for about two years. I ended up moving to Akron, Ohio about 3 years ago. I was born and raised in Akron and its not huge but it's not entirely small either. I'm currently living in Cleveland near the East side which isn't the best neighborhood in the world but everyday is different so that is pretty cool. Cleveland is extremely loud, busy and kinda dirty but it has its gems for a bigger city such as museum's, a really exciting nighlife aspect and miscellaneous parks and architecture scattered around the city. We have all four seasons during the year and are usually moderate or within reason for whatever season we are in. Although, there are snowstorms that really mess everything up about 3 or 4 times during the winter. Last winter I was stuck at my apartment for about 3 days because there was just so much snow from the storm. This summer has been particularly hot and we haven't received enough rain versus past summers and even in the spring. My favorite season here is fall because the weather is perfect to me [65 to 75) and the leaves are especially beautiful as they fall and scatter on the forest floor or city sidewalk. My favorite part about Ohio is Ceadr Point Amusement Park, Erie lake, all of the national parks and this may sound cheesy but my family is always near.
I honestly would leave Ohio because I want to be able to have the chance to leave and see more of the world. In the grand scheme of things Ohio is just one piece in America and I feel as though there is a whole world outside of it to adventure in. If I could I would be traveling in a refurbished van around the United States all year or at least the summers. At the end of the day though, Ohio will be my home and I will always have a base here to return to at some point.

I'm from a small town about outside of Seattle. I love it here and don't see myself living anywhere else. Our climate is pretty mild compared to a lot of the US. Most of the summer hovers around 75-85F with a few 90+ days sprinkled in and a few days in the 60s with rain. Winter is usually between the 30s-50s. It does rain a lot during the winter and spring, but that leaves us with really lush summers and never any droughts so it's worth it.
My town is nestled between Puget Sound and the foothills of the Cascade Mountains so whether you like to hike or spend time on the water, there's lots of outdoor recreation. It's a really beautiful place to be! Since we're so close to Seattle, we also get to go enjoy the tourism there and go to lots of sports games. We have the newest NHL team here and going to their games is my favorite, but I've also been to Mariners baseball games and Sounders soccer games too. Even though I grew up here, I am actually a Packers fan so I haven't been to any NFL games here yet xD
I went to college in Montana, and I did love it there, but I don't see myself living there again. It's beautiful, but weeks of -30F and wind gusts during the winter and then weeks of 95+ and the whole state being covered in wildfires was miserable. It's really only nice weather wise if you're there from late April to mid June, maybe a few weeks in early October, and the rest of the year kind of sucks lol

I live in central Kansas. Its been so hot here lately. We have really hot summers(my personal hottest day so far, 118F), and really cold winters(my personal coldest day so far, -15F)
I prefer 50-80F Weather lol. If i am sweating, i am cranky. Can totally take some nice COLD days tho!!! I love winter so much.
We have Tornados, actually had one just 2 months ago before we moved. Had to go help clean up debris in my neighborhood. The lightning and thunderstorms we get are so amazing to watch and listen to.
Id stay, as much as i hate the heat, i love kansas.
Id love to visit Ireland tho!!
