SO I have 2 rare breeds and I am having a weird problem. All of my horses are similar breeding some are identical breeding, I started from a small number of horses to begin with on both breeds, one from foundies and the other from a few that another member sold to me. Since the breeds are both so small I keep a lot of stallions from my breedings to see which ones turn out and then if they don't jump well or there is something else that I don't like I will retire them.
So I have a lot of horses that I have compared this on. I have been paying attention to height so if it ever does become a real factor I don't have to worry about it then, also it helps me thin my herd when I am getting ahead of myself with numbers. In both breeds my mares are almost all within the height that is acceptable. And in both breeds almost 90% of the stallions are very short and don't reach an acceptable height, usually a long ways off. I've actually even noticed it in my Thoroughbreds.
Sorry this was kind of long, I'm not very good at explaining things.
Has anyone else noticed this or had the same issue? Or is this somehow just my herd?

I've noticed it at random and not specific to stallions. It doesn't seem to make a huge difference though.
