This is one of the main reasons why I lose interest in rares so easily.
I need to see my horses do well to keep interest and with the difficulty of keeping the stars up, it usually just doesn't happen for me.
One thing I have had luck with is cross breeding though. There are many people who will do cheap crossbreeding for you for your rares :)

I have recently started crossbreeding more, I'll have to see how that goes for me!
It definitely is super frustrating though, especially when you're actually spending REAL money to get them up and going and they're just...not lol

The easiest way for me to keep registry stars up is to leave 12-14 horses 100% natural. It is much easier to find poor jumping naturals than it is to find poor jumping itemed horses. A lot of times these horses wont move up into the upper class until much later in their careers as well. If you can keep 12-14 horses under 1000 ranking then your stars will stay up in your registries.
This is how I have kept my registries up for my Trakehners, PoAs, and recently the Gypsys. You will not need to keep this up after there are several pages of horses of course. Trakehners are now at 4-5 pages I believe and I do not use this method with them anymore. I am the only breeder of PoAs and they have right around 2 pages of horses and I have consistently kept their registries up myself for the past 6-7 months that I've been breeding them. I had the Gypsys registries up within a matter of weeks by this method.
It's highly sustainable in my opinion. :)

I'll definitely have to try that. Obviously I itemed my foundies and DNA babies up as much as I could but I'll def leave their offspring natural once they're breeding age. Thank you!

If you have any DNA Breeds you could even cross the same pairing multiple times to get several natural offspring. I usually never breed these horses as they are jumpers the majority of their lives so I never care about how many of the same cross I have.
