I crossbred all the time. Hahhaa.
I have a rare breed with only 3 active stallions on the page. I have to crossbreed until I buy credits.
I sell crossbreds on the sales page all the time. Their daddies are usually amazing. So I sell them hoping someone will see the potential make them 100% and continue on.
That is one think I do not like about some of the neg karma. I gave you some to help you out.

Aw. Thank you! :)!
I see TONS of crossbreds on the sales and honestly it doesn't bother me at all! 86% of the QH's for sale are cross bred so it's REALLY freakin hard sometimes to find a good stud with good points etc and that isn't crossbred to breed with but sh-t happens right.

I wouldnt worry about it. People get all high and mighty with their "must be pure" thing. I have a couple crossbreds myself. Just go watch The Guardians of Gahoole and youll laugh every time they say "pure ones".

LOL! I have a few crossbreds myself but there mine ^ _ ^!
LOL. I could laugh about 'pure ones' anyway, it just sounds hilarious! hehe!

I agree with the negative karma thing, this is a game and people can choose how to breed however they like.
That being said, I breed QH's. There are 147 purebred QH stallions up for stud. Only four are crossbred. On the sale pages there were three. There isn't a huge number of crossbreds. If you mean linebred horses there are a HUGE amount of those. I do not like or condone linebreeding. I am fine with crossbreeding if a DHS is used. But there is a very small market for horses that aren't purebred. I use them as show filler's personally. I sometimes buy them to retire. But I'm not going to ever leave feedback for someone's choice to line or crossbreed. The stat's thing seems to have gotten much harder. It used to be easy to get all 10's. Now I frequently get 33's and 34's as well, and I won't even keep mares under 37 and stallions have to be 38+. I feel ya on that!!

Linebreeding, crossbreeding. Either or!
Linebreeding is what is it and it happens. CROSSBRED horses I do sell, QH/Paint crosses only though. Linebred I do not sell. Sorry, I may have mucked that up in typing. I don't sell linebred horses. Crossbred, yeah. Paints and QH's but not like full out mutts! Mine can still be registered in some way and I know they are only QH and paint.
I have a hard time getting all 10's! But it is what it is.
Like I said, it's suppose to me all for fun right. Why make it so serious.

Yeah I did muck up! I mean I haven't sold any Linebred! Horses recently! My bad HAHA! Crossbred, of yeah. Linebred. No no. That's what I check for before even naming my foals. If there linebred I retire them right away haha.

It's honestly a game. Crossbreeds have potential in RL - so why not in the game? Especially when it comes to bringing in new genetics/lineage into lines (this is almost essential with rares unless you're able to buy numerous Foundies). It's insane how literal people make games out to be. And it's just that...a game. In the end, I hope I'm remembered more from my charitable behaviors/accomplishments in the real world versus what I do online. xD

|
^^^^ YES! exactly!! In RL APHA/AQHA double regsitered horses are highly looked upon!
It is a game and I know people like realism. But That's a bit much. If they are not Linebred, then leave them alone.
My best stud is a QH/Paint crossbred and does fantastic in shows and has even passed that onto his offspring some how. He isn't even a 40! Haha!
But yeah.. The 'crossbred horses are horrible and need to be stopped' thing needs to be taken down a notch. x)

I would ignore people. Before the updates even started I have a few good crossbred and even a line-bred mare who did fantastic.
Besides it a game, if Jeff didnt want linebreds or crossbreds in this game I am pretty sure he would of made it that way but he didn't. Beside its your account, you breed as you want.

I agree with Chevaux. Don't worry about what others think. At the end of the day, it's your account, your pixels, and what YOU want to do.
If people don't want/like crossbreds, well, then they shouldn't buy or crossbreed horses. It's that simple. I've purchased some horses that were crossbred but weren't worth much in terms of breeding (poor stats, parents, etc) and retired them out. Others, I showed them into their potential, either used a DHS to make them pure OR just showed them without breeding.
Again, crossbreeding is a HUGE benefit with rare breeds - so it shouldn't be frowned upon too heavily. Heck, even when I go on a Thoroughbred phase I'll occasionally crossbreed to bring in new lines to my Thoroughbreds (I won't use a DHS unless said crossbred proves itself, etc).
Regardless, just ignore the haters. Haters gonna hate. Potatoes gonna potate. It's too early for me xD

I completely agree with you as well. I strongly believe that negative karma should be taken off the game! There is no need for it and it is mean
