Dude this is super pretty!
I think it would look even better with a bit more brightness/contrast, but that's just personal preference ;)

Thank ya! I got tired of messing around with the lighting so I kinda of hastily settled with this hehe. I totally agree though. I didn't like how the corners were so dark if the hot spot was lighters mostly :\

Very lovely!
I love the little twinkly spots/fireflies/stars (whatever they're supposed to be xD)
The only thing I can see that detracts from the manip is that it became a little flat during the darkening process.
I would agree with Polo's suggestion for a little more contrast to help even things out a bit.
Good work
^.^

Just little dots haha x3
Thank you so much! YES I agree with the flatness. I haven't figured out how to not flatten the image to add lighting effects with cs6 yet D:

Personally, if you're trying to edit the lighting of the whole image instead of just a single layer, I would use the adjustment options in the panel to the right.
Also, "curves" tends to be much better at preserving details than the regular brightness/contrast sliders.
I'd also recommend finding downloadable "actions" on deviantART. They can work wonders with lighting!
