Me and my horse Reddie. We make a team. We work together to acheive one goal, to win. And win we did. My most recent showing adventure, my trainer was unaviable. My grandparents had come for the first time to watch me show. And me and my horse Reddie did very well.
Before I tell you my results, you should know a bit about my Reddie boy. So he is a gelding, out of HH Red Rock, Quarter horse. He has a crooked leg, but it does not hinder his performance. He has had a rough life, as far as we know. He has some serious 'problems' that we have been working through. Such as, he bolts when he gets scared, he gets scared at the simplest things(Including ribbons, but he has gotten better at that), and he has a problem with horses coming at him from the oppisite way. He has gotten better, but to this day we cant take him in the practice pen. He is scared of pitchforks, shovels, sticks, some buckets, and sudden movements. He has gotten ALOT better about these things though. He was shown only western pleasure for the past 6 years(2-8 years). We have taught him Horseman-ship, Trail, Show-manship, and English pleasure and Eq.
We mostly do Walk-trot on Reddie, but not in Horse-manship and Eq. He has a habit of loping very fast the opposite way, trying to get it done as fast as possible. We just started English this year and my previously all western horse, turned out to be a great english horse even though he is only 15.2hh. I've told my trainer and parents "He is an english horse born in a western horse's body".

1st Place: Fitting and Grooming, 13 & under showmanship, English pleasure(W/T), English Eq.(W/T), Western Pleasure(W/T), Western Horse-manship(W/T), $100 W/T Western Pleasure
2nd Place: Jackpot Showmanship, $500 W/T Western Pleasure
3rd Place: QH halter(only three in the class :), proves why you shouldn't go in Halter with a crooked leg:)
